Have you heard of Lance Winslow? If you have not heard of him then click onto the expert authors link on the homepage of ezinearticles. Lance has reached a new and quite amazing milestone, having now written over ten thousand articles, I thought I was doing well on three hundred and sixty six. I am not really sure how he has managed this feat but I must take my hat off to him. I have recently read one of his latest articles where he explained how this article marketing had benefitted his websites. This article has inspired me to continue to write even more articles, you never know in ten years time I might have written ten thousand articles and somebody might then write an article about me. Nice one Lance you are an inspiration to us all.

Ten thousand articles! How did you do that Lance? Are you going to continue to write Lance and what is your main aim etc? I personally have a goal of writing one article per day and at times struggle to reach this target. I have over the last year seen a huge increase in traffic to my websites from this and other forms of web promotion that I use. My strategy is quite simple, I aim to build up the number of one-way backward links pointing to my sites. This philosophy is working very well for me and the main site I promote at stammering-stuttering.co.uk has now reached a page rank six, it was only a page rank three about a year ago.

Lance explained in his article that at one stage he had to remove the links to his site from his articles as he was receiving too much traffic, this is quite bizarre. Too much traffic, how can you have too much traffic?

I now help and advise other people who want to promote their own sites. I explain about web promotion and how writing articles can benefit them. They listen but only about ten percent of the people that I recommend it to, then actually start writing in a serious way. Most of the other people are looking for instant results and do not have the patience to wait for the longer term benefits that article marketing brings.

The ten percent who do start writing are the ones who phone me six months later thanking me for the advice after seeing their page ranks increase and their sales and adsense revenue grow.
