Cookware: Cooking Your Way To Success
James Brown -

When an auto mechanic works on cars, he or she makes sure that they have their own proper tools. A mechanic can’t get the job done if they do not use the proper tools to change a tire. When a car breaks down on the side of the road and a person needs a jump, you would use jumper cables not a Jack or a screw driver. You can apply these principles while cooking. For cooking success whether it’s for family and friends or a business, you must have the write cookware. You wouldn’t use a fork or knife to flip pancakes…you use a spatula.

Many dishes would taste even better if it was made with the proper tools. String, beans cabbage and greens taste pretty good when cooked in an ordinary medium sized pot. These vegetables taste even better when a person uses the right cooking tools and the right seasonings. Imagine, these side dishes would taste superb if cooked in a pressure cooker rather than an ordinary pot.

Never cook a meal in cookware that is literally on its last legs. There are several people who insist on cooking with broken cookware or cookware with missing pieces. Cooking your meal in a large pot with a broken handle can easily slip out of your hands and fall onto the floor or worse, fall on you. There are many cooks that feel that they are expert cooks and they don’t have to abide by certain rules. Abiding by certain safety rules can prevent serious injuries.

Successful Cooking with the Right Kind of Cookware

Wok recipes are one of the best ways to get that melt in your mouth gourmet taste in Asian food. Woks are specifically made for the use over a gas heated stove. Fried rice and tastes delicious when cooked in a wok. Rice can taste delicious boiled over a stove but you can not duplicate the taste of previously cooked rice in a frying pan. A wok gives rice that deep fried taste yet it is healthy to eat.

Woks are popular Asian countries, but are sold in droves in the United Stated and other countries as well…even in Italy. In the USA, woks are designed with flat bottom. The reason for the flat bottom is not because of style this is simply because gas stoves in the USA are designed with flat grates. Imagine placing a traditional round wok onto a flat grate. You would have tossed fried rice on the floor.
