Statistics show that 7 out of 10 people on the globe know about Omega brand. Such popularity is due to the high quality and dedication to precision timepieces of the watchmaking company. The brand was created by Louis Brandt when he was just a 23 years old lad. In 1848 he built his workshop in Le Chaux-de-Fonds.

One of the most famous timepieces from Omega is called Seamaster. The latter was launched for the first time in 1948 followed by Seamaster 300 in 1957. Later in 1981 the improved Omega Seamaster 120 set a world record resisting a 101 meters under water. The famous models gained its fame being the choice of James Bond.

The watch is durable and it can be worn at any occasion, at every place and anytime. As a practical watch one can use it while diving, and as a fancy watch it can be worn at any dinner party. The wonderful timepiece can be seen in some movies about James Bond, where the "famous spy" wears it in "Goldeneye" and "Tomorrow Never Dies".

The watch is not only practical and gook looking, like some of other watches of famous brand the Omega Seamaster is an expensive watch. The model has two versions: the older one is considered to be the James Bond Version its bezel being dark blue and the newer version with a bright blue bezel. The Seamaster is also available with a quartz movement or a mechanical one.

It is up to the customer to decide whether to buy a more cache Seamaster or the one that shows more precision in timekeeping. The model with a mechanical movement runs only when its possessor wear it, but when a person does not wear the same watch every day then the mechanical movement Seamaster will need to be reset.

Some special features of the watch include the availability of the timepiece to resist up to 300 meters under water. The watch is a serious diving model with a helium escape valve. The timepiece is also very durable and it is very comfortable to wear. Although it appeared in some James Bond movies the watch does not have a laser cut like the one presented in "Goldeneye" or "Tomorrow Never Dies".

An important advantage of the watch is its universal design that allows you to wear the timepiece at any occasion. The stainless steel from which the Seamaster is made of and the blue face make the watch very attractive. The watch is analog with minute, second and hour functions. This model also has a date display at three o'clock. The date is very easy to set. Nevertheless the date needs to be updated every month that does not include 31days.

The company expands its activity being able to create new watch models with additional functions and innovations; it continues to open new stores in Europe, United States and Asia.
